Sister Act
Sister Act is a musical based on the hit 1992 film of the same name. Whoopi Goldberg produced it, in order to extend the franchise. The production has been seen on Broadway and in many countries around the world, Montreal included!
Global NTT took the role of Executive Producer.
The musical played 45 shows in the Theatre St. Denis (2,200 seats) and sold over 60,000 tickets, winning the “ADISQ Billet OR Award”.
As mentioned by Pat Donnelly from the Montreal Gazette "Producing a Broadway musical like Sister Act in Quebec is akin to investing in blue-chip stocks. Anyone who remembers the effect of that other nun musical, Nunsense, and its sequel Nunsense II on Quebec audiences during the 1990s, has an idea of what’s in store for the Juste pour rire Sister Act (Rock’n none) which just opened at Théâtre St-Denis."
